Stanbio’s Interest in Your Success

Advances in biotechnology have led to faster development times for new and improved bio-therapeutics and drugs. Gains in the market will be driven by continued robust growth in pharmaceutical enzyme demand and double-digit increase in demand for biocatalysts for drug and fine chemical production.
By partnering your technology with our experienced manufacturing staff, we work together to optimize the production process for the specific clinical and market application of your biomolecule. This allows for faster turn around in the development time for your new product. This approach also frees you to focus a large amount of your time and valuable resources in the continued pursuit of innovation and efficacy relating to your biomolecule.

A Joint Mission With Our Customers

The shared mission of commercializing biotechnology continues to increase in importance for the delivery of health care. Our goal is to have you do what you do best: the ongoing discovery, innovation, and development of important and useful biomolecules for life science applications. We will assist you by providing a valued manufacturing link for accessing your targeted markets and successfully commercializing your product.
Stanbio Life Sciences has been a leader in cost effective innovation and methods for scaling-up fermentation processes in life science applications for 25 years. Stanbio’s solution to the high costs of technology scale-up incurred during the development phase is to maintain a modest cost structure by minimizing costs associated with a large-scale facility during initial pilot runs for the product. With the completion of Stanbio Life Sciences expansion plan, we will be strongly positioned to successfully compete in the life sciences industry and grow as an active contract fermentation partner with your business. Stanbio Life Sciences will become a key source and supplier for the production of enzymes and post-fermentation biomaterials as we assist our clients with their new products emerging in the life sciences industry.

Resources Available To Customers

The fermentation facility at Stanbio Life Sciences is designed to produce microorganisms, including recombinant organisms, for the production of post-fermentation products that include enzymes, proteins, and related biomaterials. The plant routinely operates three primary fermentation vessels for production: 70L, 500L, and 1,600L. In addition, downstream processing equipment includes two AS-16 Super Sharples centrifuges located in a Class 1,000 clean room processing suite, a microfiltration unit for cell harvesting, an APV Gaulin cell homogenizer, freeze drying units for product processing and liquid nitrogen freezers for cell banking.
