Fermentation
The fermentation facility at Stanbio LS is designed to produce microorganisms, including recombinant organisms, for clinically important enzymes and proteins used in many industrial applications. Stanbio LS enzymes are either sold in bulk or used in the production of in vitro diagnostic devices (IVDs) manufactured according to cGMP and subject to 510(k) clearance by the FDA.
Our downstream processing is entirely customer-driven, including:
- Column fractionation
- Cell homogenization
- Cell freezing
- Freeze drying of final product
- Preparation of concentrated cell paste
