Facility
The 23,000 square foot Stanbio Life Sciences production and operations center houses the divisional offices and manufacturing and processing plant. Our existing 7,500 sq. ft. upstream bio-processing suite contains 3 primary fermentation vessels (capable of aerobic and anaerobic fermentations), a microfiltration skid, an isolated class 100 clean room and 2 walk-in 4oC cold rooms for downstream processing, production utilities, boiler and steam generator, compressor, RO water system, and related fermentation support equipment.
We are entering into Phase 1 of a planned 3-year construction upgrade and expansion of our production facility. The end point of the construction plan will result in a pilot scale cGMP pharmaceutical production core of over 16,000 sq.ft. The initial construction phase (projected to be completed and on-line by Q4 2008) will result in two new isolated fermentation suites, an upgrade to our core utilities, and improvements to our downstream processing area.
